Profile, Maps & listings
Your Google Business Profile built out and actively managed, and your name, address and phone correct everywhere a pet owner or an AI assistant might read them.
Why it matters
Most pet owners choosing a vet never scroll past the map
For a local search like “vet near me”, the map pack sits above the regular results and takes most of the clicks. Your profile is the listing, not your website — and it is the one most practices set up once and never touch again.
What we do
- Build out the profile properly: categories, services, hours, photos, attributes
- Publish a post every two weeks, so the profile reads as active
- Answer questions on your profile before someone else does
- Keep your name, address and phone consistent across the directories that feed Google and AI assistants
- Update an address or phone change everywhere within 5 business days
- Report monthly profile performance: views, direction requests and where you rank across the grid
What you'll notice
Direction requests and calls straight from the map climb over the first couple of months, usually before anything else moves.
Being straight with you
Maps improves over 4–8 weeks, not overnight, and where you rank depends heavily on where the person searching is standing. We report rank as a grid across your service area rather than a single number, because a single number hides that.
What we need from you
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile
- Your correct hours, services and any holiday closures
- Photos of the practice, the team and the animals you treat, if you have them
- A heads-up before you move premises or change your phone number

- What is the difference between my website and my Google Business Profile?
- Your profile is the listing that appears in Google Maps and the map pack, with your hours, photos, reviews and phone number. Your website is where people go after. For a local search the profile is usually seen first, and often acted on without the website being opened at all.
- How often do you post to my Google profile?
- A post every two weeks. Enough for the profile to read as active without turning into noise nobody reads.
- Do you submit my clinic to hundreds of directories?
- No. We keep your details correct on the directories that actually feed Google and AI assistants. Bulk submission to hundreds of low-quality sites does not help and is hard to undo.
- My old address is still showing on some sites. Can you fix it?
- Yes. That is the Listings cleanup add-on, $650–750 once, and you get a written report of what was wrong and what we corrected.
- Which plans include Maps and listings work?
- All of them — Essentials, Growth and Complete. It is the one service we think every practice needs.
